Hidden-city ticketing (skiplagging): why it backfires

Sometimes a fare to a farther city, with a connection in the city you actually want, is cheaper than the nonstop. Hidden-city ticketing means you book the long itinerary and leave at the connection. It is against most airline contracts. They can cancel return flights, drop you from the frequent-flyer program, and refuse the bag you checked to the fake final city — because the bag goes to C, not B.

Why we do not promote it

Azurovia ranks real itineraries people intend to fly. We do not design searches to trick a fare file. If a one-stop through your city is the honest trip, buy that. If you want B, search B.

Safer ways to save

Cheap-flight playbook, nearby airports, flexible dates. None of those ask you to abandon a checked bag in a hub you “were not going to.”
